Linda Pratt moved from Calgary to Vulcan in the summer of 2010. She enjoys the open prairie countryside: birds, plants, animals and the changing weather; all inspiring subjects for art projects. Linda’s art explores the use of a multitude of mediums through a never ending variety of disciplines.
She follows in her mother’s footsteps, pursuing her passion for the arts during her retirement years. Her family: two sisters, and daughter, all share a desire “to go forth and alter creatively” anything and everything. A family permission for “time well wasted”! Her present ABC goals are: appreciate the importance of shading, let brush strokes create movement and celebrate the journey with many color schemes.
Her play dates are nurtured by her new found Artisan friends, in the Vulcan Nine in a Line Creative Art Society.
