Lisa Williams

Lisa has always had a passion for creating. From a very young age she loved to make mud pies in the garden, put together latch hook kits and learned to crochet while drinking tea with her grandma. She moved to Vulcan in the spring of 2018 and joined the Art Studio in the fall of 2022. All of her city working years were spent in the baking industry where she created thousands of celebration cakes and desserts within both the retail grocery scene and operating her own cake and pastry shop. With the time allowed from the slower pace of small town living, she has rediscoverd her love of crocheting and has realized she follows in her mother's footsteps of creating fun and fanciful crocheted items. Other activities she enjoys are gardening, curling, learning to paint, walking/biking, camping and of course, expanding her large collection of yarn! She truly appreciates the friendships she has created through meeting others at the studio and all who support her with their purchases of her creations.
