Sandra Anderson-Schrans

I was raised and educated in Calgary where I graduated at Western Canada High School. Always interested in crafts I learned knitting and sewing at an early age. Being a life long learner I attended many further education arts and crafts classes over the years. I have sold watercolors, encaustic, fabric paintings, knitted lace articles and am a successful soapmaker. Inspired by nature and motivated by fellow Nine in a Line Art Society members along with other Alberta based artists who teach in our local area I continue to explore new methods and materials. Soaps are made with the finest quality coconut, palm & olive oils and enhanced with essential oils for scent and therapeutic effect. Botanicals used for exfoliating properties are locally grown. I have over 10 years of soapmaking experience and enjoy trying new recipes and methods.
